An elderly couple had just crawled into bed when the old man let out a loud fart and proudly declared, “Seven points! ”His wife, puzzled, rolled over and asked, “What are you talking about? ”

Not one to be left out of the fun, his wife waited a few minutes, then let out her own impressive fart and confidently announced, “Touchdown! Tie game!

” After a brief pause, the old man fired off another one and boasted, “Aha, 14 to 7!I’m back in the lead! ”

Determined to stay in the game, the wife followed up with another loud one and grinned, “Touchdown, tie game again! ” Then, with a small squeaker, she added, “Field goal!

The husband, chuckling, realized he was in for some stiff competition. With a mischievous grin, he shifted slightly, took a deep breath, and let out another resounding fart. “Touchdown! 21 to 17! I’m unstoppable!” he crowed, clearly delighted with his score.

His wife narrowed her eyes, determined not to be outdone. She waited, concentrating intensely, and then let out a massive one that echoed through the room. “Touchdown!” she shouted triumphantly. “24 to 21—I’ve got you now!”

The old man, grinning but a bit worried, knew he had to step up his game if he wanted to win this unusual contest. He prepared himself, putting every ounce of energy into his next move. But as he strained for his big finish… suddenly, there was a bit more than he bargained for.

His eyes went wide, and he muttered, “Oh no… I think I just lost the game.”

His wife burst into laughter, shaking her head. “Looks like a fumble to me! I win!”
