76-year-old grandmother ripped apart in comments after modeling sleeveless dress on social media

Style influencer Candace Cima, a 76-year-old grandmother of 11, recently faced criticism for modeling a sleeveless dress in a social media post. While the majority of comments praised her style, some individuals expressed negative opinions, suggesting that the dress was not flattering for someone of her age.

Cima, who identifies as a pro-aging influencer, responded to the criticism by highlighting the importance of challenging outdated notions of age-appropriate fashion. She emphasized the need to shift perspectives about age in the context of the modern world.

Starting her fashion blog in 2019, Cima noticed a lack of representation for older women in the fashion space. Her platform aims to address this gap and encourages women to embrace their evolving style as they age.

Despite facing criticism, Cima remains undeterred and continues to advocate for a change in societal attitudes toward age and fashion. She believes that women should not feel compelled to adhere to traditional ideas about dressing as they get older.

In response to the negative comments, Cima offered advice to her newer and younger followers, emphasizing that aging is a positive experience. She highlighted the wisdom that comes with age, encouraging individuals to embrace and take pride in this stage of life.
