Dad shaves daughter’s head after she bullies girl with cancer and pulls off her wig

In a Reddit post that has since been deleted, a father shared a drastic measure he took to teach his 16-year-old daughter a lesson after she bullied a cancer-stricken girl by pulling off her wig. The daughter had faced consequences at school for her actions, but the father felt a more direct approach was needed.

The backstory revealed ongoing conflicts between the two girls due to the daughter dating the other girl’s ex-boyfriend. Despite their previous issues, the father emphasized that bad blood did not excuse his daughter’s bullying behavior, expressing his disappointment in her actions.

The daughter showed no remorse and even justified her actions, claiming the other girl deserved it. In response, the father gave her two options: either discard all her electronic devices or have her head shaved, attending school without a wig until her hair grew back. The daughter chose the latter.

The father, who has full custody of his daughter, faced opposition from the girl’s mother, who believed the punishment was excessive and could make her the target of bullying. The father, however, defended his decision, emphasizing his daughter’s lack of empathy and the need for a lesson in compassion.

While opinions may vary on whether the punishment went too far, the father stands by his choice, hoping that the experience of going to school bald would instill empathy and teach his daughter a valuable lesson.
