Arnold Schwarzenegger’s third open-heart surgery, originally intended as a routine procedure to replace a heart valve, took a terrifying turn when doctors accidentally punctured his heart wall, leading to severe internal bleeding. The actor and former governor shared this harrowing experience in a recent YouTube video. Despite waking up to the shocking news that the operation hadn’t gone as planned, Schwarzenegger maintained a resilient attitude, emphasizing that “You cannot roll the clock back.”

The surgery, which occurred just before he began filming Terminator: Dark Fate, presented a life-threatening situation. Schwarzenegger’s recovery involved intensive exercise to prevent pneumonia and regain strength. The urgency to return to work on Terminator 6 served as a motivating factor during his rehabilitation.

Schwarzenegger’s story serves as a poignant reminder of the fragility of life and the strength of the human spirit. His positive attitude and the support of those around him played crucial roles in his recovery from this near-death experience. The ordeal underscores the power of determination and resilience in the face of adversity, leaving a lasting impact on those who hear his story.
