Cheater Gets Stepchild into Trouble, Jilted Wife Turns the Tables on Him

Me: “A real ghost? Are you sure, sweetheart?”
He: “Yes, Mom! She was in our house!”
Me: Confused and worried, I glanced around the cafe, searching for any signs of the supposed ghostly waitress.

My little son continued to tremble, his eyes fixated on the waitress as she went about her duties. I decided to approach her, hoping to understand the source of my son’s fear.

Me: “Excuse me, miss. I’m sorry to bother you, but my son seems to think he’s seen you as a ghost in our house. Do you have any idea what he might be talking about?”

The waitress looked at me with a puzzled expression, assuring me that she had never been to our house or encountered my son before. I thanked her and returned to our table, perplexed by the unfolding situation.

Later that day, I sat down with my son to delve deeper into his ghostly encounter.

Me: “Sweetheart, can you tell Mommy more about the ghost you saw at our house?”
He: “She looked just like her, Mom. Same face and everything.”
Me: “Who, darling? The waitress?”
He: “No, not her. Daddy’s friend. The one he talks to on the computer.”

Suddenly, it clicked. My son was referring to a video call he had witnessed between his father and a friend, who had a striking resemblance to the waitress. The fear in his innocent eyes had stemmed from a misunderstanding.

Me: “Oh, baby! That wasn’t a ghost. Daddy was talking to his friend on the computer. She’s very much alive and not a ghost at all.”

Relief washed over my son’s face as the pieces of the puzzle fell into place. It was a moment of realization for both of us – the imaginative mind of a child weaving stories from everyday encounters.

As we finished our time in the cafe, my son waved goodbye to the ‘ghostly’ waitress, now with a grin on his face. The supernatural fear had dissipated, leaving behind a humorous family anecdote that we would cherish for years to come.”

On Father’s Day, Keith Urban walked onto the stage with a heavy heart and sang “He’s in Every Chord I Play” for his late dad. His voice cracked, eyes glassy, barely holding it together — and yet, every note carried a piece of the man who raised him. It wasn’t just a song. It was a son crying out through music, right there in front of everyone. No ego, no show — just love. Honest, raw, and heartbreakingly beautiful. Keith didn’t just sing it… he lived it.
