Man Learns Daughter Isn’t His After DNA Test But His Wife Never Cheated On Him

A 29-year-old woman shared a unique and distressing situation on Reddit involving a paternity test that revealed her 5-year-old daughter was not biologically related to her or her husband. The couple, who had been together since college, decided to take tests to clear the confusion. Shockingly, the results indicated that they were not the biological parents of the child.

Devastated by the revelation, the woman and her husband took legal action against the hospital where she gave birth, receiving a settlement of $2 million. They also discovered that their biological daughter had been in foster care after being taken away from a family who mistakenly believed she was their child.

The couple applied for adoption, and the woman provided an update on Reddit, sharing that they had found their biological daughter and explained the situation to their 5-year-old. The family planned to move to start anew with their two daughters. The woman expressed gratitude for the support received and a determination to protect her daughters from the traumatic experience.
