Following the conclusion of the Not Dead Yet Tour in 2019, Nic continued to build his professional reputation within the music industry. He served as the drummer for the Genesis reunion tour, which took place between 2020 and 2022, effectively continuing his work within the orbit of his father’s iconic band. His professional musical journey extended further when he joined Mike and the Mechanics, touring alongside his father’s longtime Genesis bandmate, Mike Rutherford.
Currently, Nic Collins remains very active in the music industry while simultaneously developing his own distinct artistic identity. He is a member of the band Better Strangers, an act that made its public debut in 2022. By balancing his contributions to his father’s enduring musical legacy with his own creative projects, Nic continues to establish himself as a versatile and dedicated musician.
