An elderly woman was walking her dog

The decisions we make and the way we behave hold significance. Whether it’s the positive effects of our acts of kindness that extend beyond ourselves or the repercussions of our wrongdoings, karma acts as a guiding principle, directing us towards responsibility and fairness.

The following joke is a perfect example of how karma works and how the consequences of our misdeeds would eventually returning to haunt us.

An elderly lady was walking her dog and minding her own business when a young man passing by her grabbed her bag and started running.

A couple who witnessed the incident from across the street approached the elderly lady, making sure she wasn’t hurt during the act. They also told her that they called the police and that they were on their way.

The lady, however, didn’t seem to be disturbed. On the contrary, she had a smile on her face, which confused the couple. When they asked her if she had anything valuable in her bag, she told that them that she had only used it to store her dog’s poop until she goes home and disposes of it.

Imagine the thief’s face when he realizes he stole dog’s poop. Priceless, I guess.
