Major celebrities among those who have had homes devastated by new Hollywood wildfire ripping through LA

Several well-known figures in Hollywood have acknowledged that the wildfires in Los Angeles have destroyed their homes.
Over 100,000 people, including some of the biggest names in Hollywood, have had to leave their homes due to wildfires throughout California.

When a wildfire grew out of control and spread throughout Los Angeles, the governor of the U.S. state declared a state of emergency.

Strong winds aided the fire’s spread, destroying homes and scorching the surrounding area.

According to the BBC, there are currently at least six wildfires, one of which spread through the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Numerous celebrities are known to reside in this neighborhood; however, they were evicted from their residences when the area caught fire on Tuesday night, January 7.

According to officials, more than 1,000 buildings have been destroyed and at least five people have been killed so far, according to AP.

As wind gusts of up to 70 mph aided the fires, local residents were forced to evacuate the apocalyptic conditions that had arrived in their aesthetically pleasing neighborhoods.

This started on Wednesday morning (8 January), but it made it too hard for planes to fight the fire from above.

Firefighters are still fighting the conditions that have destroyed the property of several celebrities, leaving them without a place to live.

Crystal

The tennis courts are all that’s left of the When Harry Met Sally actor’s house.

Since then, Crystal and his wife, Janice, have confirmed the death of their family home in a heartbreaking statement to fans.

“Janice and I have resided in our house since 1979,” he wrote.

“This is where we brought up our kids and grandkids. There was love in every square inch of our home. Lovely memories that are irreplaceable.

“We are heartbroken of course but with the love of our children and friends we will get through this.”

Mark Hamill

The Luke Skywalker actor confirmed that he saw “small fires” on “both sides of the road” while evacuating his Malibu home due to a “last-minute” evacuation.

It was the’most horrific fire’ in more than 30 years, he wrote as he arrived at the Pacific Coast Highway.

Curtis, Jamie Lee

For her own safety, the Freaky Friday star left her house.

In an Instagram post, she wrote: “My community and possibly my home is on fire.”

Added Curtis: “My family is secure. My friends will lose a lot of their homes. Numerous other communities as well.

“The reports are so contradictory. There seems to be very little information available despite all the technology. Post facts, please! IT WILL ASSIST THOSE WHO ARE CONFUSED.

She provided an update, saying her house was secure.

 Paris Hilton

“Heartbroken beyond words,” Paris Hilton wrote on Twitter in response to the loss of her Malibu home. I believe that no one should ever have to watch our Malibu home burn down on live television while watching the news with my family.

“We created a lot of priceless memories in this house. Phoenix took his initial steps there, and we had aspirations of creating a lifetime of memories with London.

“Even though the loss is unbearable, I’m thankful that my family is safe. All of the families impacted by these fires have my deepest sympathies and prayers.

“To everyone who has lost their treasured pets, their homes, and their memories. My sympathies go out to those who are still in danger or who are grieving more significant losses.

“The destruction is beyond comprehension. It is incredibly tragic to realize that so many people are waking up today without the place they called home.
