Fox & Friends co host Rachel Campos-Duffy has a heartwarming TV moment with daughter. Shares new plans

In an effort to raise awareness of National Down Syndrome Day, Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy recently made an appearance on Fox & Friends with her daughter, Valentina StellaMaris Duffy, who is four years old.

The 52-year-old mother of nine, Valentina, has had a significant impact on her family, according to Campos-Duffy.

She underlined that her youngest child has instilled patience and understanding in her eight siblings.

Throughout the segment, Campos-Duffy fervently discussed the significance of acknowledging the value of people with Down syndrome.

“So many children with Downs are being exterminated in the womb, and I think that when people get to meet them and see how wonderful they are, we are going to see less of that,” she said, expressing concern over the high rate of prenatal terminations involving diagnoses of Down syndrome.

In an effort to change attitudes and promote acceptance, Campos-Duffy shared her own story to show the love and joy that children with Down syndrome bring to their families.

Educating people about children with Down syndrome

In an effort to raise awareness on Down Syndrome Day, Rachel Campos-Duffy and her daughter Valentina, age four, made an appearance on the show.

Valentina won hearts right away when she waved joyfully and said “hi” to the audience during their introduction.

Her mother used the opportunity to say something during the segment. “I believe it’s crucial to increase awareness because, in reality, many women receive this diagnosis and become afraid,” she said.

She assured the audience that children with Down syndrome face only a few extra difficulties, sometimes of a medical nature, just like any other child. Some of them may have thyroid issues, and others are prone to heart problems. However, she reassured families that all of that is highly treatable.

Valentina was hailed by Campos-Duffy, who described her as a source of love and happiness in their home. She remarked, “She is just as beautiful, as priceless, as happy as any other child.” In fact, I believe she has improved our family. I believe our children have acquired patience and tolerance. They’ve figured out how to be helpful,” she said.

Valentina won over everyone’s affections during the segment by showing off her Pilates prowess to Ainsley Earhardt and joyfully playing around the studio. According to Campos-Duffy, Valentina is the family’s favorite and a cherished member who has enhanced and fulfilled their lives.
