Mystery Behind Barron Trump’s Disappearance from NYU Campus Revealed

Barron Trump Pursues Business Studies at NYU’s Stern School

NEW YORK — The youngest son of former President Donald Trump has begun studying at New York University’s Stern School of Business, marking a different academic path from his older siblings, most of whom graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

Although Barron chose a different campus, his field of study mirrors his father’s lifelong passion for business.

Trump Praises His Son’s Choice

Speaking about his son’s decision, Donald Trump said he fully supported the move.

“It’s a very high-quality place. He liked it. We liked the school,” Trump said. “I’ve known NYU for a long time — it’s one of the highest-rated schools.”

He added that while Wharton had been considered, Stern ultimately felt right for Barron.

“I went to Wharton, and that was certainly one we looked at,” Trump said. “We went for Stern. He’s a very high-aptitude child, but he’s no longer a child.”

Keeping a Low Profile

Despite being the son of a former president and global business figure, Barron Trump, 18, has maintained an exceptionally private lifestyle. Fellow students describe him as polite and reserved, often blending easily into campus life.

A TikTok post that drew viral attention noted Barron’s modest $88 black backpack, suggesting he prefers simplicity over show. The user commented that this choice makes him appear approachable and grounded despite his wealth and upbringing.

“He’s lived a life of privilege,” the post read, “but he’s very thrifty in private. Since starting college, he’s carried an inexpensive black school bag — it makes him look like any other student.”

Observers have often noted Barron’s low-key demeanor, contrasting with his family’s high visibility.

Studying Away From the Main Campus

According to People magazine, Barron has completed his first year at NYU but has not been spotted on the university’s main campus this fall. Officials told the outlet he is likely studying at one of NYU’s global sites.

The university operates full programs in Brooklyn, Abu Dhabi, London, Paris, and Shanghai, along with academic centers in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. His exact location has not been disclosed for privacy and security reasons.

A Path of His Own

While Barron Trump’s choice of university may set him apart from his siblings, his focus on business continues the family tradition. For now, he remains largely out of the spotlight — quietly pursuing studies that, in time, may prepare him for a public role of his own.
