On September 15, Prince Harry will celebrate his 40th birthday with a significant surprise—a $8.5 million inheritance arranged by the late Queen Elizabeth. This gift comes from a $90 million trust fund set up by the Queen Mother for the royal family, specifying that Harry would receive his share upon turning 40.
However, not everyone in the family is pleased. Reports suggest that Prince William and Princess Kate are unhappy with this windfall, questioning whether Harry deserves it. According to a source close to the family, William is “disgusted” that Harry will receive millions “without lifting a finger,” especially considering the ongoing tensions between them.
Interestingly, Harry’s share will exceed William’s, as the latter benefits from the vast wealth of the Duchy of Cornwall, funding his public and private activities. While Harry is set to receive slightly more than half of the £14 million allocated for both brothers, he will need to pay taxes on the inheritance.
This birthday gift highlights the underlying discord within the royal family, yet it also marks a significant moment in shaping Prince Harry’s future.
