‘Baywatch’ star’s homeless ex-wife spotted hauling shopping cart in LA

Loni Willison, the former model and ex-wife of Baywatch actor Jeremy Jackson, made an unexpected reappearance on the streets of Los Angeles this week. On June 29, the 40-year-old was seen maneuvering a shopping cart filled with blankets while smoking a cigarette. Dressed in a layered shirt, skirt, leggings, white socks, and a backward baseball cap, Willison exuded a reflective aura. She was also adorned with numerous necklaces and bracelets.

Willison’s life has dramatically changed since her 2014 split from Jackson, with whom she had a brief marriage lasting less than two years. Recently, she has been observed searching for food and essential items, highlighting the severe challenges she faces. Jackson, best known for his role as Hobie Buchannon on Baywatch, achieved considerable fame from the show.

In May, the Daily Mail released images of Willison foraging through trash for personal care products, such as mouthwash. This stark change from her previous appearances on magazine covers like Iron Man, Glam Fit, and Flavour was also noted when she was seen eating yogurt with paint-covered hands and shopping at the now-closed 99 Cents store.

Willison has publicly attributed her decline to her marriage with Jackson. She candidly shared with X17 Online that her marital issues and subsequent divorce were significant factors in her current situation. Moreover, she disclosed to the Daily Mail that she experienced a mental health crisis in 2016, during which she believed crystal meth was a remedy for her delusion that electrical currents were being implanted into her body. Her struggles with substance abuse and mental illness have been ongoing since she began living on the streets around that time.

Willison has stated that she has not been in contact with Jackson and does not wish to seek help from others, declaring, “I don’t want anyone to help me. By me, I am capable of handling our lives. This is where I have all I need.” Cindy Kovacs, another of Jackson’s exes, has expressed concern for Willison, commenting, “What happened to Loni is truly tragic, and she was never given the assistance she needed.”

Willison’s story highlights the complex issues surrounding mental health, addiction, and homelessness, drawing attention to the difficulties she faces. Our thoughts are with her during this challenging time.
