Online Users Worry Princess Catherine Looks ‘Painfully’ Thin – Body Language Experts Analyze Her Latest Appearance

Princess Catherine’s recent public outing at Wimbledon sparked conversation among social media users, with many commenting on her appearance. Experts, however, provided contrasting views, analyzing her demeanor and poise.

As patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Catherine presented the men’s final trophy to Carlos Alcaraz on July 14, 2024, after he claimed his second consecutive Grand Slam victory. Catherine, accompanied by her daughter Princess Charlotte and her sister Pippa Middleton, received a standing ovation upon entering the Royal Box on Centre Court.

A lip reader, Jeremy Freeman, analyzed the Princess’s interactions upon arrival, noting how Catherine guided her daughter to their seats while receiving applause from the crowd. Princess Charlotte appeared a little confused, but her mother’s guidance ensured the young royal’s smooth entrance.

During the event, Catherine warmly greeted the spectators and introduced Princess Charlotte to Alcaraz after his victory, mentioning how they had been cheering for him. The tennis champion kindly acknowledged the young princess, who stood shyly next to her mother.

Catherine also made time to meet with tennis stars, including Emma Raducanu and wheelchair tennis player Lucy Shuker, with whom Princess Charlotte made a “pinky promise” to try tennis. The Princess of Wales also commiserated with runner-up Novak Djokovic, offering a handshake as she took part in the trophy presentation.

Following her appearance, concerns emerged online regarding Catherine’s physical condition. Some social media users remarked on her slimmer appearance, with one user stating, “She is painfully thin,” while others suggested her health issues contributed to the change. Many, however, expressed admiration for her resilience and grace despite her ongoing health challenges.

Despite the mixed reactions from the public, body language expert Judi James observed Catherine’s confident and cheerful demeanor throughout the event. She noted how the royal appeared self-assured and regal in her bespoke dress. According to James, Catherine displayed signs of being at ease, with her upright posture and characteristic dimpled smile.

Princess Charlotte, James added, mirrored her mother’s movements, showcasing the strong bond between the two. As they walked together, Charlotte adjusted her pose to match Catherine’s, reflecting her growing confidence under her mother’s gentle guidance.

Another body language expert, Darren Stanton, also weighed in, noting Catherine’s choice of purple attire, symbolizing calmness and authority. He described her as projecting confidence and optimism, with her genuine smiles and direct eye contact signaling her contentment during the event.

Stanton also highlighted the Princess’s firm handshake and purposeful strides as indicators of her strong self-esteem. He concluded that Catherine’s choice of clothing and confident body language reflected her resilience and inner strength amid ongoing health challenges.

In summary, while some expressed concerns over her physical health, Catherine’s presence at Wimbledon demonstrated her grace, strength, and ability to navigate public life with poise. Her supporters remain hopeful for her full recovery, admiring her as a beloved figure of resilience and elegance.
