‘DWTS’ Viewers Reveal Why Tori Spelling Was Eliminated So Early

This week’s “Dancing with the Stars” was an emotional rollercoaster as Tori Spelling became the most recent celebrity to take off her dancing shoes.

The actress and her professional partner, Pasha Pashkov, gave a moving rendition of “This Is Me” from “The Greatest Showman” during Week 2 of the competition.

Despite receiving a solid 19 out of 30, which increased their two-week total to 36, Spelling was eliminated from the competition. Fans were split after her elimination, which sent shockwaves through the crowd.

Social Twitter users reacted quickly, with one saying frankly, “I feel bad for Pasha but I’m not shocked Tori went home.” The user went on to say that although though a lot of people from Spelling’s generation know her and have followed her work throughout the years, she doesn’t exactly have a positive reputation.

No one else was shocked either, as seen by the comment that read, “She’s not one of the popular or well-loved ‘90210’ actors.” Another person stated, “My Gen X mother said something similar about Tori and people not liking her.”

As the comments came in, one more person said, “I’m not surprised Tori just did not have the fan following to back her.” One Reddit member chimed in, saying, “I’m not shocked at all she went home.”

Still, not everyone was in agreement with Spelling’s exit. A fan expressed their displeasure by saying, “She deserved to remain! I’m still stunned.” “It’s unbelievable that she was voted out,” wrote another, echoing the same feeling. A couple extra weeks were due to her.”

Conversely, Brandon Armstrong and Chandler Kinney stunned everyone with their amazing rumba to Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For.” They truly stole the event.

“You created some moments there that, like, I think, touched us all,” Judge Carrie Ann Inaba exclaimed, breaking down in tears. “Dance can go inside and like, pull all your organs and your heartstrings like that, it’s really powerful.”

Kinney’s early grasp of such emotional depth was praised by Inaba, who went on to say, “You are so young, and you championing that so early in the season makes me think you might do quite well.”

With a poor score of 15 out of 30, Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart finished last on the leaderboard due to their difficulties with their waltz to “The Godfather” theme. With a two-week total score of 30, they were probably going to be in the running for elimination the following week.

Though the controversy around her removal persists, it appears Spelling has accepted her leave with a positive attitude.

Spelling revealed that she has been a longtime admirer of the show, but she also acknowledged that for years she was afraid of the idea and wasn’t sure if she would be able to join. She acknowledged that, at 51, a small part of her questioned why she hadn’t joined sooner.

She did, however, stress that she felt everything happens for a purpose and that everything happened precisely as it was supposed to. Even though her time on the show was brief, she called it amazing.

“The experience has been amazing. I know it was brief, but in just two weeks, I’ve undergone a significant internal and external metamorphosis,” the woman remarked.

Alongside Tori Spelling, who seemed less than thrilled about her exit than Spelling, was Anna Delvey, who was also fired from the show. Delvey had a direct response when asked what she learned from the experience: “nothing.”
