A lot of people love Mariska Hargitay as the star of Law & Order: SVU, but she has kept her personal life quiet for a long time. But recently, an interesting new fact about her charitable work has come to light. It turns out that Hargitay has been quietly giving money and support to a number of groups that help victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. Even though not many people know about her work for these causes, it has made a big difference in communities all over the country.
Hargitay is best known for her role as Olivia Benson, a character who fights injustice. It looks like the things she does when she’s not acting are just as heroic. Hargitay is inspiring others to act by coming out of the shadows and taking on the role of a passionate advocate. It’s even better for her fans to admire her now that her secret is out.
