Melania Trump Participates in “YMCA” Fun at Mar-a-Lago New Year’s Eve Festivities

Just 20 days before President-elect Donald Trump is scheduled to start his second term, Melania Trump joined the celebrations at Mar-a-Lago on New Year’s Eve and showed off her dancing skills.

Hundreds of people gathered to ring in the new year with the Trump family, and the celebration had a playful vibe.

The moment Melania joined her husband and “First Buddy” was particularly noteworthy.

As “YMCA,” a hit song by the Village People, played, Elon Musk was dancing. Musk’s youngest son, X, was dancing with Trump and appeared to be enjoying the upbeat music.

Melania, 54, was spotted grinning and raising her hands in the air while doing a delicate, sophisticated jive in a video posted by “FLOTUS Report” on X.

Donald Trump pumped his fists enthusiastically in his trademark manner in the meantime. The couple’s joyous celebration encapsulated the excitement of the momentous evening, creating a memorable evening.

Fans of the adored former first lady praised her for dancing to one of Trump’s favorite songs and stepping outside of her comfort zone to join in the fun. As one fan put it,

Some referred to her as “stunning” and praised her golden, sequined floor-length gown for the occasion, while others said, “LOL, she actually CAN dance great.” “I adore our First Lady-elect,” wrote another admirer. I hope she has a much better four years.

Notable attendees at the Mar-a-Lago New Year’s Eve celebration included Vice President-elect J.D. Vance and his wife Usha, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and his family, and Donald Trump Jr. and his new girlfriend, Bettina Anderson. When the president-elect’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, enthralled the audience with a stirring performance of Tom Petty’s timeless hit song, “I Won’t Back Down,” Trump and the pro-MAGA guests began to sing along.

President-elect Trump spoke to reporters before entering the event to confirm that he would be attending former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral. Trump took the opportunity to wish the country well when he was questioned about his New Year’s resolutions. He declared, “I just want everyone to be happy, healthy, and well.”
