Jodie Foster caused a scandal at the Golden Globe: Sofia Vergara demanded that the statuette be given to her

Jodie received her fifth Golden Globe in her career, and this was her tenth nomination. When her colleague took the stage to accept the award, Sofia was unable to contain her emotions. Vergara leaped out of her chair and hurried over to the stage. Oh no, please give it to me! “Please, don’t do this again!” she yelled.

The esteemed honor was given to the 62-year-old actress. Jodie took first place in the “Best Actress in a Miniseries or TV Movie” category. Her role in the movie True Detective: Night Country earned her recognition.

Cate Blanchett for All the Old Knives, Naomi Watts for Feud: Capote vs. the Swans, Cristin Milioti for The Penguin, Kate Winslet for The Regime, and Sofia Vergara for Griselda were also nominated in this category.

Jodie smiled in response to this outburst. “I understand,” she said. Sofia’s face was captured on camera at that precise moment; she appeared extremely serious for a brief moment before laughing.

Foster brought up Vergara in her acceptance speech. The Hollywood star remarked, “Being able to be among all these people, especially next to you, Sofia, is another cool thing about my age and being here right now.”
