‘The Five’ Co-Host Jessica Tarlov Facing Ripped For ‘Deranged’ Comments

Fox News commentator Jessica Tarlov, known for her liberal viewpoints, stirred controversy with her comments on an awkward moment between Karen Pence and Melania Trump at former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral. During an episode of The Five, Tarlov remarked on Karen Pence’s apparent avoidance of Melania Trump, calling it one of her “favorite moments” of the ceremony.

The interaction—or lack thereof—occurred during the solemn event, where Karen Pence seemed to deliberately avoid eye contact or any acknowledgment of the former first lady. Despite the snub, Melania Trump maintained a gracious smile, exuding poise throughout the encounter. The moment quickly reignited public discussions about the strained dynamics between the Trumps and Pences, a relationship that has reportedly been fraught with tension since the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot.

Tarlov’s comments drew mixed reactions online. Supporters applauded her candor, with some calling the incident a reflection of the unresolved discord between the two political families. Critics, however, accused Tarlov of politicizing a somber occasion and showing insensitivity by focusing on the drama at a funeral.

Karen Pence’s behavior and Tarlov’s commentary have become the latest flashpoint in the ongoing narrative surrounding the fallout between the Trumps and Pences. The incident serves as a reminder of the deep divisions that linger within certain factions of the Republican Party and the broader political landscape.
