BREAKING: ‘The Voice’ Winner

When Jason Head, also known as Sundance Head, made an appearance on American Idol in 2007, the music industry became aware of his name. Every week seemed to see the country singer take center stage. Tragic events occurred when he was voted off with just one week left before the finale.

Head didn’t let that stop him from pursuing a career in country music. He also made another attempt at singing in a competition in 2016. It was The Voice, though, this time. Head ultimately prevailed, landing on Team Blake Shelton. The singer was shot on his Texas ranch while establishing his own career in country music, according to recent reports.

Trey Newman, Head’s agent, shared information about the incident, stating that the singer was shot on his Texas ranch. Newman acknowledged that Head received assistance prior to being airlifted to a nearby hospital, but he refrained from disclosing too many specifics about the incident. The singer was shot in the stomach, according to his wife, Misty. She urged followers to unite in prayer for her husband’s quick recovery.

Once more, Newman acknowledged that Head enjoyed hunting on his ranch, but the reason for the shot was unclear at the time. Regarding his present state, “all vital organs were missed.” It wasn’t caused by self-harm. We don’t know if another hunter nearby or an accident involving his gun caused it. The agent added, “The bullet is lodged in some fatty tissue, and the only way it could have happened is if it traveled through something else,” before undergoing emergency surgery.

“It sounds like they’re gonna leave it in there,” Newman said, divulging what little knowledge he had at the time. His wife is currently en route to the hospital to obtain additional information from the medical professionals. We don’t know if he’s awake.

More information about the incident was posted on the Sundance Head Facebook page. The update said, “He’s at the ranch hunting by himself went up yesterday the boys were coming up this evening to join him for a weekend together and well this happened.” No one shot him, and it wasn’t his hunting rifle. When he reached in to retrieve his 22 while he was outside the car, it popped out of its holster, struck the outside of the Jeep precisely, and took off.

Misty urged fans to unite for Head as she concluded the update. We are in need of you, Prayer Warriors. I don’t have much information, but please remember Sundance in your prayers. This is Misty.
