Ahead of Super Bowl LIX, Travis Kelce is generating news. Taylor Swift fans are reacting negatively to the Kansas City Chiefs’ star tight end’s remarks regarding Donald Trump’s scheduled attendance at Sunday’s championship game.

Kelce was questioned about the former president’s attendance at the eagerly awaited game during a media day interview on Wednesday. Swift’s loyal fan base reacted strongly to his response, which immediately caused controversy.

“It’s a tremendous honor,” Kelce answered. “I believe that regardless of the president, I am thrilled because it’s the most important game of my life and, with the president present, it’s the greatest nation on earth.” That would be really awesome.

Travis Kelce’s response about Donald Trump’s impending Super Bowl appearance sparked an immediate response from Taylor Swift’s ardent fan base. Many were disappointed and frustrated, and some even demanded that Swift break up with the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.

On social media, a fan expressed their indignation by writing, “@eagles all the way on Sunday.” Now that orange lunatic will be around, I love them even more. Travis Kelce has a fondness for oranges. He was no longer respected. How is Swift able to remain with him? In my opinion, every Trump supporter is a man I dislike.

“Disappointed bc in 2018 The Eagles didn’t make their players go and because so many declined, Trump then uninvited the team,” said another fan, referencing the Philadelphia Eagles’ past with Trump. This is disappointing because Kelce has discussed social justice as a white man.

“Friendly reminder that Taylor Swift said ‘f*** that, I don’t care’ when Trump said he’d come after her,” wrote a third fan, reminding others of Swift’s prior position on Trump. I apologize, but Travis Kelce had the option to say the same thing.
