Twenty Million Chickens Are Killed By Bird Flu in the US, Which Also Drives Up Egg Prices Nationwide

At the moment, egg prices are fairly high due to avian flu. This devastating event killed millions of chickens, which led to a sudden shortage of eggs and an increase in prices. It’s amazing how fragile the entire system is. Like, after one outbreak, eggs suddenly cost a fortune? Let’s analyze it.

The outbreak of bird flu has gotten out of control.Over 20 million egg-laying birds have already been killed. It’s that easy. It goes without saying that the disruption in supply caused prices to soar.

“The disease has affected all major production systems,” the USDA stated plainly. Basically, none of these chickens were safe from this regardless of whether they were raised in cages, organically, or any other way.

In actuality, wild birds are merely dispersing the virus as if it were insignificant. They aren’t even sickened by it. They just spread the word.
