In his interview with Cam’ron, Smith clarified, “It’s the reason I’ve never been married.” “The truth is that I couldn’t have been faithful because I was traveling 200 days a year. Why would I take marriage vows that I already knew I couldn’t keep in light of that?

Fans’ Reaction to the Brutal Honesty of Stephen A. Smith

Fans responded to Stephen A. Smith’s open explanation in a variety of ways, from comprehension to outright skepticism. Some questioned his intentions or used the occasion to criticize his personality, while others commended his self-awareness.

One fan posted on social media, saying, “Bro, you don’t gotta get all deep.” “Just say you enjoy h**s and money.”

“Men who wear sunglasses indoors, regardless of the lighting, are self-absorbed and can’t be trusted,” another person remarked scathingly.

However, many completely rejected Smith’s logic. One user speculated, “I don’t think that’s the real reason,” while another asserted that his schedule wasn’t as demanding as he had claimed: “It seemed like he was gone every other month back when I watched First Take.”

Even with his candid admission, the conversation sparked speculation about whether Smith’s views on marriage might shift if he met someone who could handle his demanding, frequently traveled lifestyle.
