Elon Musk reacts after claims author gave birth to his 13th child

Following assertions by author Ashley St. Clair that the two had a child together last year, Elon Musk took to social media.

The right-wing influencer St. Clair revealed on Friday that she was breaking the news to beat the mainstream media and claimed on Musk’s platform, X, that she and Musk have a five-month-old child.

“I welcomed a new baby into the world five months ago,” she writes in her post. The dad is Elon Musk. In order to safeguard our child’s safety and privacy, I have not previously disclosed this, but it has become evident in recent days that the tabloid media plans to do so regardless of the harm it may cause.

“I plan to give our child a typical, secure environment in which to grow up. Because of this, I request that the media respect our child’s privacy and abstain from intrusive reporting.

As readers are undoubtedly aware, Musk made headlines last night following his appearance from the Oval Office with President Donald Trump and his four-year-old son. Journalists’ questions included one that compelled Musk to publicly retract a claim he had made earlier that $50 million worth of condoms were being sent to Gaza in the Middle East when, in fact, it was Gaza in Mozambique.

Following Musk’s admission that he was mistaken, the journalist questioned, “How can we ensure that all of the statements that you made were accurate, so we can trust what you say?”

Musk retorted, “Some of the things that I say will be incorrect and should be corrected.”

“You know, we’ll make mistakes, but we’ll take swift action to fix them.”

Musk’s name is frequently featured in headlines, which is not surprising considering that he is currently the acting head of the recently established Department of Government Efficiency and that he is the richest man in the world.

However, there were some raised eyebrows when 26-year-old right-wing author and influencer Ashley St. Clair claimed to have given birth to Musk’s 13th child.

So much so that Musk himself added his thoughts to an image that shared a purported screenshot of tweets between St. Clair and a user named Greg Price, responding to the rumors with the words, “Whoa.”

Price tweeted on May 20 that, according to the screenshots, “He’s got a kid with a woman already.” It doesn’t seem likely to succeed.

In response, St. Clair writes in a since-deleted post: “Well, he actually has 7 kids & goes through women pretty fast.”

A child by St. Clair would be the thirteenth of Musk’s twelve children, which he has confirmed he has with three other women.

In response to Ashley and Elon’s alleged relationship, St. Clair’s representative, Brian Glicklich, President and CEO of Digital Strategy Ltd., posted a statement on Twitter yesterday, February 15, saying that the two “have been privately working towards the creation of an agreement about raising the child for some time” and that it was “disappointing” that a tabloid reporter “repeatedly ambushed” St. Clair and her family and “made it impossible to complete that process confidentially.”

To put an end to unfounded rumors, the statement concluded, “We are waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledge his parental role with Ashely, and Ashley trusts that Elon intends to finish their agreement quickly, in the best interests of the wellbeing and security of the child they share.”
