Trump Border Czar Vows Jail Time for FBI Leakers

Tom Homan, President Trump’s border czar, has accused the FBI of leaking information about planned Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids targeting illegal immigrants, warning that those responsible could face criminal prosecution. He expressed frustration over recent leaks that compromised ICE operations, particularly in Colorado, and suggested that similar breaches had occurred regarding a large-scale raid planned in California. The operation, expected to take place before the end of the month, is reportedly significant enough that FBI and DEA officers will be assisting ICE agents.

During an interview on Fox News with Sean Hannity, Homan stated that the leaks were coming from inside the FBI. He voiced concern that these breaches could endanger law enforcement officers, as criminals might use the information to prepare ambushes. The deputy attorney general has since launched a criminal investigation into the leaks, with some early findings suggesting that the FBI may be involved.

Homan emphasized the severity of the situation, making it clear that if the individuals responsible for leaking information are identified, they will face serious repercussions. This could include job termination, loss of pension benefits, and even jail time. He stressed the importance of maintaining operational security to protect both officers and the integrity of ICE’s mission.

Trump campaigned on executing what he called the “largest deportation operation in American history,” but the results of recent raids have been inconsistent. A large-scale ICE operation in Chicago, which involved 400 agents, resulted in just one arrest—a member of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang. Despite these setbacks, Homan made it clear that efforts to enforce immigration laws will continue, and he vowed to hold those leaking classified information accountable.
