Bill Clinton and Hillary have been married for 46 years – she rejected him twice before saying “I do”

Bill and Hillary Clinton’s enduring marriage spans over four decades, withstood numerous challenges, including the Monica Lewinsky scandal, and is marked by mutual respect and support.

They met while studying law at Yale, and despite initial hesitations from Hillary, they married in 1975. Bill’s political career took off, culminating in his presidency from 1993 to 2001.

Despite the Lewinsky scandal, Hillary chose to stay with Bill, describing it as one of her toughest decisions. They remained active in public service, with Hillary serving as a U.S. Senator and Secretary of State, while Bill continued his humanitarian work.

In 2022, they celebrated their 45th anniversary, a testament to their enduring love and friendship.
