Musk Threatens Lawsuit Against Former ‘Squad’ Member Who Labeled Him ‘Nazi,’ ‘Thief’

After former Representative Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.), a former member of the far-left Democratic “Squad” in the House, called President Donald Trump’s top adviser a “Nazi” and a “thief” in a recent CNN appearance, billionaire businessman Elon Musk has threatened legal action.

“I’m done. Musk responded to a CNN clip of Bowman’s most recent round table discussion on Friday by writing on X, “Lawsuit inbound.”

Bowman, who lost to a centrist pro-Israel candidate in the Democratic primary last July, told a panel of pundits that “Elon Musk is incompetent in his position and the American people do not trust him.”

“How are we aware? It was contested in court because they fired tens of thousands of people. The people are returning after the court ordered them to do so, Bowman told CNN.

“He lacks competence. He is a thief. He’s a Nazi. Additionally, Bowman asserted that Musk is not trusted by the public.

Elon Musk was accused by left-leaning media outlets of giving a “Nazi salute” to a crowd on the day of President Trump’s inauguration. Maye Musk, Musk’s mother, responded by urging him to sue CNN and other media for disseminating what she described as a false and defamatory narrative.

Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.), a former “Squad” colleague of Jamaal Bowman, has repeated the same baseless fascist charges, calling Musk a “Nazi nepo baby” last month.

In the July Democratic primary for New York’s 16th Congressional District, Bowman, a former member of the progressive “Squad” of left-wing House Democrats of color, lost to George Latimer. The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), a well-funded pro-Israel lobbying group, allegedly spent millions to “brainwash” voters against Bowman, who accused Israel of committing “genocide” during its war with Hamas terrorists.

Bowman was officially censured by the House of Representatives in 2023 for setting off a fire alarm in the Capitol during negotiations for a government shutdown, which was perceived as an attempt to stall the process.

Conservative journalist Andy Ngo, who gained notoriety after being attacked by Antifa rioters in Portland, Oregon, in 2019, was one of those endorsing Elon Musk’s possible lawsuit, according to Fox News.

It is not protected to accuse someone of a crime. By inviting guests who make potentially defamatory statements repeatedly without question, CNN exposes itself to liability, Ngo wrote.

“Claw him! Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, wrote from his personal X account, “Defamation against conservatives must be addressed or it will never end.”

“Retaliate!” Also writing was Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C.

With the GOP majority in the U.S. House literally on the line, Musk and voter registration activist Scott Presler are working extra hard to encourage Republicans to vote in a Supreme Court election in Wisconsin, a crucial battleground state.

Brad Schimel, a conservative candidate for the Supreme Court, is receiving $1 million from America PAC, a political action committee that was established by SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk to aid Trump’s 2024 campaign.

Building America’s Future, another organization supported by Musk, spent $1.5 million on advertisements endorsing the conservative candidate.

Susan Crawford, a liberal judge, is his opponent; the winner will determine the balance of power in the crucial swing state’s highest court.

This is significant because, should Crawford prevail, the court’s current liberal majority of 4-3 will be upheld, and justices will probably consent to a gerrymandering of the state’s congressional districts that would cost Republicans at least two seats in the U.S. House and possibly tip the chamber in favor of Democrats in 2026.
