Kelly Ripa’s eldest son, Michael Consuelos, shocked social media this week after

On Wednesday, November 9, Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest’s morning talk show featured a surprise for Kelly.

The American Idol host showed his colleague that her and husband Mark Consuelos’ oldest son, Michael, deserved a place in the awards under the “next generation” category while they were talking about this year’s Sexiest Men Alive list!

“Are you serious? She took the People magazine from Seacrest and read the interview with her son. “Give me this,” she said. “You would think he would tell us so we would pick up a couple of copies for the grandparents.”

When they showed the blonde beauty an old picture of Mark at the age of 24, she confessed, “It’s funny, I forget that they look alike until I see photos of them like that.”

Then Ripa laughed when she read the blurb about 25-year-old Michael, which stated that the aspiring actor “respects his father’s work ethic.” “Yeah, he worked one day last week,” she joked.

After giving his magazine spread another glance, the 52-year-old mother of three said, “Michael Conseulos, I always thought you were just a handsome lovely fellow. mindful, industrious, conscientious, and courteous. I was unaware that you were regarded as attractive.

The TV personality went on to say, “I always thought his father was sexy.” Seacrest responded, “Well, apple — tree.”

Having landed a few TV roles, including two appearances in his dad’s show Riverdale, where he played his dad’s character as a teenager, Michael is following in the footsteps of his famous parents.

When college is in session, Ripa and Mark, 51, who also have a 19-year-old son named Joaquin and a 21-year-old daughter named Lola, are part-time empty nesters. “We picked up and dropped off our youngest son at college. It was challenging. “It was very difficult,” she remembered. “It was incredibly painful when we hugged him after dropping him off at school. And I remarked, “I had no idea that eighteen years would pass by so quickly.”
