Barack and Michelle Obama?…

“Everyone would know” if Michelle Obama were divorcing her husband, according to her.

In an interview with host Steven Bartlett for “The Diary of a CEO” on May 1, the former first lady stated that it would not be a secret if she were divorcing former President Barack Obama.

Craig Robinson, co-host of the “IMO” podcast and her brother, “would know it,” she told Bartlett, adding that “if I were having problems with my husband, everybody would know about it.” “I would be problem solving in public,” the author of “Becoming” added, but added, “I’m not a martyr.”

If the couple were experiencing marital issues, Robinson, the former head basketball coach at a college, stated, “I’d be doing a podcast with (Barack Obama).”

Speaking out about her decision to miss Trump’s second inauguration, Michelle Obama

The Netflix star of “Becoming” has previously addressed circulating rumors that her marriage to President No. 44 was ending. These rumors first arose after she did not attend President Donald Trump’s second inauguration.

Michelle Obama stated that they are more compatible because of their differences with Barack Obama.
Obama explained why she chose not to attend Trump’s second inauguration ceremony on the April 23 episode of “IMO” that starred Robinson and Oscar nominee Taraji P. Henson.

“My decision to skip the inauguration – or my decision to make choices at the beginning of this year that suited me – were met with such ridicule and criticism,” Obama said in the course of the interview. People found it hard to accept that I was refusing for any other reason. They must have thought my marriage was failing.

“I’m here really trying to own my life and intentionally practice making the choice that was right for me, and it took everything in my power to not do the thing that ‘was right,’ or was perceived as right, but do the things that was right for me,” she continued, “IMO.”

Michelle Obama responds to reports that she is divorcing after making “a choice for myself.”

Since leaving the White House in 2017, the former first lady has been as vocal as ever this year, during Trump’s second term in office, about her own marriage and personal beliefs. The Obamas wed in Chicago in October 1992 and have two grown daughters: Sasha, a 23-year-old University of Southern California alumnus, and filmmaker Malia, a 26-year-old.

Obama reiterated her earlier remarks in the “Diary of a CEO” episode regarding her reasons for missing the event to Bartlett.

“You know, as someone who has always checked boxes, doing the right thing, trying to set a good example, and always getting high … ‘I think I’ve done enough of that,’ I think I told myself, and if I haven’t, I never will. It will never be sufficient. I’ll begin now,” Obama said.

However, the co-founder of Higher Ground claimed that the former president and she are actually more compatible because of their different personalities.

Upon meeting Barack Obama, I saw him as the antithesis of a box-checker—someone I refer to in my book as the ‘ultimate swerver.'” “He didn’t follow the book,” she remarked. “He was brilliant and interesting.”
