Ashley Graham Explains Why She Stopped Breastfeeding Her 5-Month-Old Twins

Ashley Graham, renowned for her body positivity advocacy, openly discusses her motherhood journey. As a mom of three, including twins, she emphasizes every mother’s right to choose between breastfeeding and formula, insisting, “I don’t think we should be telling people how we should be feeding our kids.”

Graham shares her struggles, revealing, “With my first kid, I was like, ’I can only breastfeed! This is the right way!’ Then I had the twins, and I was like, ’I’m not doing this.’” She stopped breastfeeding her twins at 5 months, opting for formula, focusing on their well-being.

She candidly discusses post-pregnancy body changes, stating, “Your body just fills up with nutrition, and the baby sucks it out of you… you’re just fully depleted of everything.” Graham’s journey towards body confidence showcases her dedication to authenticity: “I like to represent myself as someone who’s just happy with who I am… I don’t ever want to lie.” Her honesty resonates with mothers globally.
