shows moment LAPD trample man with horses repeatedly at anti-ICE protests

A man is repeatedly tramped on by police horses in a startling video taken during the Trump administration protest over the weekend.

On Friday (June 6), hundreds of protesters were out in force against the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids in Los Angeles. The riot squad descended on them over the course of three nights of chaos, creating an environment that resembled a battlefield.

In one version of the social media video, which was also broadcast on national television, a backpack-wearing individual was seen lying in the middle of the road with police officers on foot and on horseback.

He was kicked by one horse, stamped on by another, and then struck on the head with a pole-like instrument by another rider.

As the mayhem unfolded around them, the man was able to pull himself off the ground and back away, but a policeman threw him back to the ground.

Note: This video may be upsetting to some people.

Rubber bullets and tear gas were used on the enraged demonstrators after officers at the scene were attacked with rocks and Molotov cocktails.

Australian reporter Lauren Tomasi was caught in the crossfire while covering the storm for 9News.

“I’m all right. She subsequently affirmed, “I, Jimmy, and my cameraman are all safe. “This is just one of the regrettable facts of covering these kinds of events.”

“I do want to show you the scene here tonight because it has been a really volatile day on the streets of Los Angeles.”

According to Tomasi, the 9News cameras captured areas of downtown Los Angeles that were blocked off: “The city warned that if anyone moves through here, they will be arrested on the spot.”

Following reports of violence against federal ICE agents, President Donald Trump announced on Saturday, June 7, that he had approved the mobilization of 2,000 National Guard troops.
“The Federal Government will step in and solve the problem, RIOTS & LOOTERS, the way it should be solved!!!” he wrote on Truth Social if California Governor Gavin Newscum [sic] and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass are unable to perform their duties, which everyone knows they cannot.

“I have formally requested the Trump Administration rescind their unlawful deployment of troops in Los Angeles county and return them to my command,” California Governor Gavin Newsom said in response to X after the National Guard gave the go-ahead. Prior to Trump’s involvement, we had no issues.

By escalating tensions and diverting resources from areas where they are truly needed, this constitutes a grave violation of state sovereignty. Reverse the directive. Give California back control.

The day before, Mayor Bass herself said, “It shows a sense of terror in the community,” following Trump’s use of the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to increase deportation powers.

“It’s terrible enough that it took place here, but the way it’s spreading throughout the neighborhood, people are unsure of their safety.”

Residents of LA have been advised to stay away from public spaces.
