Former CEO of Astronomer Caught in Viral Kiss Cam Moment with Chief People Officer
A lighthearted kiss cam moment at a Coldplay concert in Gillette Stadium has led to unexpected consequences for the now-former CEO of Astronomer.
During the show, the stadium’s jumbotron captured Byron, then CEO of the tech company, embracing a woman identified by several media outlets as Kristin Cabot, Astronomer’s Chief People Officer. As the camera zoomed in, Byron quickly ducked out of frame while Cabot appeared visibly flustered, turning away and covering her face.
Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin noticed the interaction and commented from the stage:
“Oh, look at these two… Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy.”
The moment, captured on TikTok, exploded across social media, amassing over 100 million views and sparking widespread commentary and memes. The incident even inspired a parody by the Philadelphia Phillies, who spoofed the now-viral encounter during their Friday night game.
Neither Byron nor Cabot have publicly commented on the matter, but the viral video has left a lasting impression—both online and inside the company.
