Rosalynn, diagnosed with dementia six months ago, joined her husband in hospice care but faced complications from an infection. In their final moments together, Jimmy made the poignant decision to be alone with Rosalynn. The couple, married for 77 years, shared a hospice bed, allowing them to converse before Rosalynn lost the power of speech and passed away on Sunday.

Jimmy, now 99 and facing health challenges, had consistently expressed his desire to outlive and care for Rosalynn until her last moments.
