William Shatner Confirms He Doesn’t Have Long To Live

Star Trek legend William Shatner, 91, has candidly addressed his limited time left in a recent interview ahead of his documentary release, “You Can Call Me Bill.”

Shatner’s main motivation was to connect with his grandchildren posthumously, leaving behind a lasting memory for them. Despite his acknowledgement of life’s brevity, Shatner emphasized his desire to ensure his loved ones remember him. The actor cherishes his role as a proud grandfather to five grandchildren from his previous marriages.

The documentary, directed by Alexandre O. Philippe, premieres at the SXSW Film Festival. Shatner’s daughters, Leslie, Lisabeth, and Melanie, also feature. In a 2014 interview, he expressed the immense joy his grandchildren bring and how he imparts his wisdom to them.

Recently, Shatner made news by reuniting with ex-wife Elizabeth Martin after their 2020 divorce. At the Living Legends of Aviation Awards in January, they spoke candidly about their revived bond. Shatner’s life includes four marriages, but it’s his enduring legacy and family ties that truly define him.

Despite his age, he remains engaged in both his career and personal life, offering inspiration to all about embracing every moment with loved ones.
