Did Santa get you that?

A Clever Little Girl Outsmarts a Cop on Horseback

A police officer on horseback stopped a young girl riding her new bike.
“Did Santa get you that?” he asked.

“Yes,” the girl replied proudly.

“Well,” the officer said with a grin, “tell Santa to put a reflector light on it next year,” and handed her a $5 fine.

The little girl looked up at the officer and smiled sweetly.
“Nice horse you’ve got there,” she said. “Did Santa bring you that too?”

The officer chuckled. “He sure did!”

“Well,” the girl said, tilting her head, “next year, tell Santa the D goes under the horse — not on top of it.”
