Identity of 6-year-old girl killed at a PSL adventure park revealed as family shares devastating update

Remembering Emma Riddle: A Life of Light Lost Too Soon

What began as a joyful birthday celebration ended in tragedy when six-year-old Emma Riddle was fatally injured in a go-kart accident at an adventure park in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

The accident occurred Saturday at Urban Air Adventure Park, where Emma and her family had gathered to celebrate her sister’s birthday. According to police, Emma was riding in a go-kart with an adult when another vehicle collided with theirs. She was airlifted to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, but despite emergency efforts, she passed away the following morning.

An Ongoing Investigation

The park temporarily closed as officials began a full investigation. The Florida Department of Agriculture, which regulates amusement and go-kart facilities, dispatched an inspector to examine the track and safety procedures.

Authorities have not released further details on how the collision occurred. However, public records indicate that the parent company of Urban Air has faced previous lawsuits and settlements over safety incidents at other locations. The company has not yet issued an official statement regarding Emma’s death.

For now, investigators continue their work — and a community mourns.

“Full of Life, Love, and Light”

In a heartfelt obituary, Emma’s parents described their daughter as a child who “touched every soul she met” and whose faith and warmth radiated far beyond her years.

“She was adored by all who knew her and loved God with all her heart,” the family wrote. “Her faith was strong, her spirit radiant, and her kindness unmatched.”

They recalled how Emma spent her final day “joyfully celebrating her sister’s birthday,” full of laughter and innocence.

“Though her time with us was far too short,” they continued, “Emma filled every moment with compassion and warmth. She will forever remain a precious daughter, sister, friend — a cherished gift from God.”

Community Support and Farewell

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the Riddle family with funeral expenses and to honor Emma’s memory. Messages of condolence and prayers have poured in from neighbors, classmates, and local churches.

A memorial service for Emma Riddle will be held Saturday, December 13, at 10 a.m. at Calvary Chapel Port St. Lucie, located on NW St. James Drive.

A Light Remembered

Emma’s story has shaken her community — not only for the tragic loss of a child but for the stark reminder of how fragile ordinary joy can be.
Her parents ask that she be remembered not for the accident, but for the life she lived: bright, faithful, and full of love.

“Emma loved deeply, laughed easily, and believed wholly,” her family said.
“She taught us how to see beauty in every moment — and how to love without fear.”
