Children have been featured in many popular viral clips, with their playful humor and innocent outlook bringing enjoyment to viewers worldwide. Their musical enthusiasm can become especially compelling when it is paired with an ability that audiences would not ordinarily expect at such a young age.

A separate video presents another child discovering an early rock ’n’ roll favorite. In that clip, a young fan enthusiastically rocks to Little Richard’s “Good Golly Miss Molly” and sings along with the song.

Psychologists attribute the attraction of recordings like these to a combination of innocence, surprising skill and nostalgia. Such children display an open, unselfconscious enjoyment of music that may remind viewers of their own first experiences of dancing. William’s hip swivels and the Little Richard fan’s singing encourage people both to root for the children and to delight in their cuteness.
