Though Il Grande Piano is based in Italy, the project has travelled internationally. During a South Korean presentation at the Goyang Lake Park Art Festival, the oversized instrument was used for a performance of the classic ragtime piece “The Entertainer.”

Its upbeat character suited the playful premise of the routine. The music appeared to add more bounce to the dancers’ steps while they sounded the keys, once again combining instrumental playing with movement devised specifically for Il Grande Piano.
