Despite the challenges, he stated, “I feel pretty good.” Keith described the experience as “a little bit of a roller coaster,” with good days and ups and downs.
Back in June 2022, the 62-year-old singer announced his stomach cancer diagnosis, disclosing that he had undergone chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. He expressed hope of touring again by year-end if his strength allowed. Keith humorously accepted the award, thanking his supporters, family, and team. He remarked on the unpredictability of cancer but expressed his readiness to return to work, emphasizing, “That’s living.”
