Goodwill Employee Exposes A Secret, And Now I’ll Never Shop There Again

Reddit has become a platform for employees to share alarming stories about working conditions, including a shocking account from a Goodwill worker. The employee revealed that at their Goodwill store, nothing is cleaned before being sold, exposing customers to potentially unclean items.

Another former employee confirmed this, emphasizing the lack of cleaning practices. Concerned readers expressed feelings of discomfort and emphasized the need to wash thrift store purchases thoroughly. While some were not surprised by the revelation, others shared personal experiences of encountering unclean items in thrift stores.

Despite this, a volunteer from another Goodwill location disputed the claim, citing the efforts of elderly volunteers to maintain cleanliness. The discussion raises questions about hygiene practices in thrift stores, urging customers to take precautions when shopping at such establishments.
