A recent book reveals Prince Harry’s apparent criticism of the Princess of Wales in his Netflix series left Prince William furious. The series, released with Meghan Markle in December 2022, sparked controversy, with both William and King Charles facing scrutiny.
Harry’s comments, suggesting pressure within the royal family to marry according to expectations, seemed directed at William and Kate. According to “Charles III New King. New Court. The Inside Story” by Robert Hardman, friends saw this as a direct attack on Catherine.
Weeks later, Harry’s memoir, “Spare,” further delved into private matters, including tensions between Kate and Meghan.
Royal expert Jennie Bond suggests Kate felt hurt and insulted by these remarks, indicating a lingering feud unlikely to be resolved soon. Despite efforts to mend bridges, William and Kate have accepted the rift with Harry, prioritizing their own well-being and moving forward with their lives.
