Prince William looks sad when he discusses Kate Middleton’s health.

The BAFTAs had lots of famous guests, and one of the most important was the Prince of Wales, who seemed sad when talking about his wife’s health.

Prince William’s wife, Kate Middleton, had surgery on her stomach at The London Clinic, but he didn’t want to say why.

Normally, the Royal Family keeps health matters private. However, King Charles III was different. He openly talked about his prostate surgery and a separate cancer diagnosis.

“I’ve watched fewer films than before,” Prince William said. “With my wife, it’s been a bit… But I hope we catch up. I’ll make my list tonight.”

Why is everyone keeping quiet?

Maybe Middleton just doesn’t want everyone to know her personal stuff, which is a common request from many regular people too. But that hasn’t stopped people from spreading rumors and asking questions.

Lots of people are wondering why the King is open about his health to everyone, but the former Duchess of Cambridge is keeping things private.

So far, all we know is that it’s not cancer, Kensington Palace said that clearly. But some think it could be Crohn’s Disease, a hysterectomy, or surgery for severe reflux after having three children in the past ten years.

Whatever the cause, it really affected the future Queen, so her close family had to come together to take care of her and her kids, George, Charlotte, and Louis.

This included her husband, who took a break from his royal duties for a short time. Middleton is expected to go back to her duties after Easter once she’s fully recovered.
