John Cena strips naked for hilarious skit at Oscars gala – and everyone’s saying the same thing

John Cena made headlines at this year’s Oscars ceremony in Los Angeles by participating in a comedic skit where he appeared completely naked, much to the delight of the audience.

The amusing stunt, co-hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, took place as Cena was about to present the Best Costume Design award. Kimmel jokingly pondered the idea of a nude man running across the stage, reminiscent of a streaker incident at the 1974 Academy Awards.

Playing along, Cena peeked around the curtain and expressed reservations about the streaker bit, citing the event’s elegance. He emphasized the importance of respecting the male body and ultimately appeared on stage to present the award, seemingly nude except for skin-painted underwear concealed by the winner’s envelope.

Social media buzzed with reactions, with some users expressing disappointment at the revelation of Cena’s ‘naked’ appearance. Nevertheless, the skit created a stir both at the Dolby Theater and online.

Despite not being an Oscar nominee, Cena played a role in the popular 2023 film Barbie. Interestingly, he revealed on the Howard Stern Show that he was initially advised against taking the role, being urged to stick to a certain career lane. However, he asserted his autonomy and embraced the opportunity.

Whether you watched the Oscars gala or not, Cena’s memorable appearance certainly sparked conversation and added a comedic touch to the event.
