Meghan Markle ‘left in tears’ after ‘unfair criticism’ of her new lifestyle brand

Meghan Markle’s brief tenure as a working royal turned into a nightmare, culminating in explosive allegations against the royal family during her and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey. Now, they have created a new life in the US.

Despite their business ventures facing mixed success, Meghan and Harry remain busy. Recently, Meghan launched her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, with a limited collection of jams. However, the reception was underwhelming, and a royal expert revealed that the Duchess was left in tears over the criticism.

After leaving royal life in early 2020, Meghan and Harry moved to Montecito, California. They began building a business empire, securing a five-year $100 million deal with Netflix and a lucrative book deal. Despite their high-profile lifestyle, including a $14 million mansion, not all ventures have been successful. Their Spotify deal ended after producing just one series.

In March, Meghan announced her lifestyle brand, but the initial product—a lemon-filled gift basket containing fresh fruit jam—received criticism for being expensive. According to royal expert Tom Quinn, Meghan was devastated by the negative reception, feeling that her efforts are unfairly criticized.
