Mark Wahlberg Left Hollywood for Quiet Family Life in Nevada — Gets up at 2:30 AM to Spend More Time with Kids

Mark Wahlberg sold his custom-built California mansion and relocated to Nevada to prioritize his family’s well-being. The actor, known for his roles in “Transformers” and “Ted,” wakes up at 2:30 a.m. to spend more time with his wife and children. Despite his success in Hollywood, Wahlberg’s ultimate goal is to be a devoted father.

Wahlberg had a troubled childhood, struggling with drug addiction and imprisonment. He credits his wife, Rhea Durham, a former Victoria’s Secret model, for transforming his life. The couple met in 2001 and have four children: Ella, Michael, Brendan, and Grace.

Wahlberg moved to Nevada to provide a better environment for his family and to be more present in their lives. He also aims to build a factory for his brand, Municipal, and establish film production facilities in Las Vegas. In 2022, he purchased 2.5 acres of prime land in the exclusive Summit Club for $15.6 million.

The actor’s daily routine includes early morning workouts, business calls, and script reviews before making breakfast for his family. Despite his busy schedule, Wahlberg prioritizes family time and romantic outings with Durham. The Wahlbergs cherish holidays together, and Wahlberg emphasizes that his success is meaningless without being a good parent.
