At 69, Kevin Costner gets re-do to “look younger” after shock divorce, claims insider

It’s common for people to make changes in their lives after going through a divorce. Some might opt for new clothes, a different car, or a fresh hairstyle. Others might seek out a new job or find a new group of friends to spend time with. It’s a natural response to such a significant and often traumatic life event, especially when it involves the end of a relationship once believed to last forever.

Celebrities, like anyone else, often undergo transformations following a divorce. Kevin Costner appears to be experiencing one of these transformations, according to reports from Radar Online.

Fans of Costner may recall the developments in his personal life during 2023. The Dances With Wolves star and his wife of 19 years, Christine Baumgartner, finalized their divorce last year. Reports suggest that it was Christine who initiated the separation, leaving Costner reportedly shocked by her decision. The legal proceedings that followed resulted in Costner being ordered to pay Baumgartner $63,209 per month in child support—a sum significantly lower than the $161,592 Christine had initially sought.

Since the divorce, the 69-year-old actor has been linked to various women, a common occurrence for someone newly single in Hollywood. There has been considerable speculation that Costner is now dating singer Jewel. The two have reportedly taken a vacation together, and Jewel herself addressed the rumors in an interview in April, describing Costner as “a great person” and acknowledging the public’s intense interest in their relationship.

Whether Costner has indeed found new love remains uncertain, as no official statement has been made. However, Radar Online claims that the Yellowstone star has undergone a noticeable transformation since his breakup with Christine.

According to a source quoted by The Globe, Costner has become increasingly concerned with his appearance, reportedly “fussing over his hair nonstop” and “getting weaves.” The source also mentioned that he is “dabbling in other beauty treatments like Botox and spray tans to look younger.” Friends have joked that Costner, with his bleached hair, is beginning to resemble a “scarecrow,” but the actor seems confident in his new look.

Costner recently showcased his bleached blond hair and a thicker hairline at the Cannes Film Festival, where he debuted the first film in his new four-part Western saga, Horizon: An American Saga.
