She Was A Famous Actress Who

In the 1970s and 1980s, Chinese-Mexican showgirl Lyn May gained notoriety as a captivating figure due to her influence in the Mexican film industry. Lyn, who was born in Acapulco, Mexico, in 1952, spent her early years working as a waitress and later selling trinkets to help support her family. She met an American sailor while working as a waitress, and the two of them eventually got married and had two daughters. However, accusations of abuse caused the marriage to end.

Lyn moved to Mexico City in order to pursue a career in entertainment. She started dancing and soon became well-known, making appearances on the well-liked Latin American television program “Siempre en Domingo.” When she was asked to perform burlesque, her career took a dramatic turn. Despite her initial reluctance, she eventually embraced the style, earning the moniker “The Goddess of Love.”

There was controversy and personal hardship in Lyn May’s life. When her second husband, Antonio Chi Su, passed away in 2008, she suffered a personal tragedy. She then made a startling comeback to the media spotlight with allegations of an affair with a former Mexican president, thought to be José López Portillo. Inconsolable, Lyn acknowledged that she had dug up and temporarily lived with his remains.

Although it turned out to be a publicity stunt for her final tour, Lyn May once again shocked the world in 2021 when she announced she was pregnant with her young fiancé, Markos D1.

In the 1990s, Lyn’s pursuit of beauty also resulted in a botched cosmetic procedure where a con artist used dangerous chemicals rather than collagen to inject her face, leaving her with permanent damage. Notwithstanding this setback, Lyn May is still regarded as a prominent figure in Mexican popular culture because of her fearless demeanor and influential career.
