George Clooney’s surprising message to Donald Trump during TV interview – What did he say?

During a television interview, George Clooney delivers a message to Donald Trump.

Actor George Clooney recently posted an unexpected message—without even naming former President Donald Trump—during his appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

After reflecting on his upbringing and disclosing that he was raised in Kentucky as a Democrat, Clooney recalled his first presidential election vote. In 1980, Clooney revealed, he voted for Democratic incumbent Jimmy Carter.

Clooney never specifically mentioned Trump during the conversation, but he did use it as an opportunity to poke fun at him.

Clooney joked when talking about the Democratic party’s election defeat last year: “Well, I don’t know, what am I supposed to do? How about we storm the f***ing Capitol? It was a scathing remark about the riots in January 2021.

On his late show, George Clooney gives Trump a clear message.

George Clooney appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and made a scathing comment that appeared to be aimed at Donald Trump. Without identifying himself, Clooney stated:

“Well done. Our nation needs you, so I hope you succeed. We’ll see you in three and a half years to see where we’re headed.

Clooney also talked about how disappointed he was by the Republican victory the previous year, but he accepted it as a necessary component of democracy. Even though there are those who disagree, most of us still get along. We will all overcome it,” he declared.

“Shake the guy’s hand, say good game, and get him next time,” he said, equating it to his son’s chess tournaments, where he teaches him how to accept defeat gracefully.

In a New York Times op-ed last year, Clooney urged Joe Biden to withdraw from the race, lauding his character but claiming he couldn’t prevail in the “battle against time.” His most recent comments support his position on advancing the party.

Clooney, who has a reputation for speaking out, has never avoided talking politics, and his most recent remarks are no exception.

His ability to combine humor with astute political observations was once again demonstrated during his appearance on The Late Show.
