‘Duck Dynasty’ family receives some very bad news after Phil Robertson’s passing

“She lost her 60-year partner.”

One of the most difficult periods of Miss Kay Robertson’s life is currently underway. She is the adored matriarch of the Duck Dynasty family. She is quietly battling her own health issues while mourning the loss of her husband, Phil Robertson.

In an open interview, Willie Robertson, her son, revealed that his mother was not in the best of health. “We’re doing everything we can to support her.”

The devastating news was released just a few weeks after Phil passed away on May 25 from Alzheimer’s disease. He was seventy-nine.

“She Lost Her 60-Year Partner”
Known to fans for her distinctive Southern charm and unshakable faith, Miss Kay was conspicuously missing from the June 1 premiere party of Duck Dynasty: The Revival in Monroe, Louisiana.

Willie claims that her absence went beyond a simple physical one.

He clarified, “Some of it is, she is just depressed.” “She lost her 60-year partner.”

Despite appearing in the early Duck Dynasty reboot episodes, Kay was reportedly unable to participate in the later ones due to her deteriorating health.

A Family Shaken by a Scare
In April, worries about Miss Kay’s health initially arose. On the Unashamed podcast, her son Jase Robertson disclosed that she had fallen and contracted an infection that was severe enough to necessitate hospitalization.

At the time, Jase acknowledged, “We were sort of dealing with the fact that maybe this is it.”

He also disclosed that Kay has spent time in a care facility affectionately called “Kay’s Kingdom,” where she is surrounded by friends and family, and that she now requires round-the-clock professional care.

He revealed, “My mom is not doing well physically.” “But we’re trying our best to lift her spirits.”

Phil, Faith, and Family
Kay found strength in her children’s company, even as she deteriorated. Prior to his death, Phil informed the family that their encouragement was boosting her spirits. In exchange, she was assisting him.

The Robertson family as a whole found strength in the couple’s unbreakable bond, which they had developed over 60 years.

After his father passed away, Willie wrote a heartfelt ode to him that read, “He was the Real Deal.” “Sundays are the same as Fridays.”

“I am grateful that you brought me up properly and taught me the most valuable lesson to help me prepare for the day you departed.”

The return of the Duck Dynasty, but without its patriarch
Following the lives of Willie, his wife Korie, their children John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella, and Rebecca, as well as a growing number of grandchildren, A&E revealed earlier this year that Duck Dynasty would return after an eight-year hiatus.

The revival is anticipated to offer a more intimate and religious look at the Robertson legacy, even though the original series made TV history with almost 12 million viewers.

Even though Miss Kay isn’t as prominent on screen this time, the family still values her spirit and her story.

According to her sons, Kay isn’t doing well. However, Duck Dynasty fans are aware that Miss Kay’s strength is ingrained.

And she has faith, family, and fierce love all around her right now, which is exactly what she needs.
