At 56, Julia Roberts causes stir as she debuts new hairstyle for fans – “not the same person”

Julia Roberts is no stranger to turning heads with her ever-changing hairstyles. The iconic actress has sported many different looks over the years, but her latest switch-up may be one of the most eye-catching yet. Last year, Roberts introduced a “spontaneous” fringe, which garnered plenty of attention and comments from her fans.

Well, the Erin Brockovich star has decided to shake things up once again, and this time she’s gone blonde. Though Roberts is more commonly seen with darker hair, she recently appeared on Instagram showcasing her newly-colored blonde locks. The post received an outpouring of praise, with many fans delighted by the change.

However, when images of her new look surfaced on Facebook, the reactions were more mixed. Not everyone was convinced that going blonde was the best choice for Roberts, with some individuals expressing their opinions on the change. Comments included remarks like, “Not the same person,” and, “Bleached blonde is not for her.” Others pointed out that the new color didn’t complement her skin tone as well as her previous shades.

One fan speculated that Roberts may have chosen to go blonde because it covers gray hair better, suggesting that this might be the reason behind her decision.

Earlier this year, Roberts shared in an interview with Vogue that one of her biggest regrets is not having gone to college. She explained that financial constraints and the lack of scholarship opportunities prevented her from pursuing higher education, something she still reflects on.

Despite the varied opinions on her new look, we think Julia Roberts looks fabulous with her blonde hair. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments.
